Spooky Season Reflections: Finding Flow, Connection, and Patience
The Start of Spooky Season: Hitting the Ground Running
Spooky season is officially here, and it feels like I’ve hit the ground running. I’ve already done three events so far, and with each one, I’ve met new people, experienced new energies, and learned something along the way.
My first psychic gallery reading was a huge success, even though I had to shake off some nerves in the beginning. The crowd was larger than I expected, and the lights from the stage really turned up the heat on me. But once I settled in, warming up to the energy in the room, I found my flow. It felt like everything just clicked, and I was able to zone into the messages. By the end, I believe everyone walked away with something meaningful, which is exactly what I wanted. Not only that, but we raised a nice amount of funds for the Natchez Little Theatre, which made the night even more rewarding. I’m also grateful for the new connections made that night, something I value deeply in this journey.
Makers Market Magic: Tarot, Energy, and Connection
The makers market was another highlight for me. Working out in the community with my tarot readings brings me so much joy. Each interaction is an exchange of energy, a reminder of the light we all carry, and it always renews my purpose in doing this work. I met so many new faces, made friends, and deepened my connection with the community. There’s something so powerful about these moments of connection, and they always leave me feeling inspired and enlightened.
Reconnecting the We Bloom Community
Through this event, our “We Bloom” Facebook group saw a resurgence. After a bit of quiet time, where life got busy for our admins, it was heartwarming to see new members joining and engagement picking up again. It feels like a fresh chapter is starting, and I’m excited to see where it leads us.
Learning to Pace Myself
One of the biggest lessons I’m learning is how to pace myself. There’s so much I want to do, and sometimes it feels like there’s not enough time to fit it all in. But I’ve realized that I don’t have to rush. Good things take time. It’s like making the perfect sauce—it needs time for all the seasonings to marry before it’s ready to serve. Right now, I’m in that marriage stage, letting things simmer and develop.
I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received so far this season. It’s been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait for what’s next. I’ll be sitting in my flavor for a little while, taking a moment to breathe, but I’ll keep you all updated on when I’m back out there again. Thank you all for coming out to these events—I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
Traveller
A wide-eyed girl with a dream in tow,
Flatlands, hills, and out to meadows.
An eccentric weed on any street she goes—
They say there’s that lass who travels 'round in her Curio Vardo.
